This internal reporting channel is provided to detect in advance any problems, such as fraud, that will negatively affect the Company and thereby to ensure its sound operations. All reports submitted to this channel will be forwarded to SEKISUI CHEMICAL CO., LTD.(SEKISUI CHEMICAL Group Whistle blowing contact office), and persons in charge at local companies to which you belong will not have access to them.
SEKISUI CHEMICAL CO., LTD. has outsourced the operation of this reporting website and report acceptance services to D-Quest, Inc., a third-party organization. Reports are stored and managed on a server that is protected by advanced security and that is independent from the Company. Unless the reporter voluntarily discloses information, no information that can identify him or her will be revealed to the Company. You can report anonymously or not, as you prefer.

Reporting flow

Your report is registered in the server hosted by Japanese operation company. Once your report is registered, a 13-digit Report Number will be issued.

A.SEKISUI CHEMICAL Group Global Hotline (“Global Hotline”) is a comprehensive and confidential reporting tool operated by D-Quest that enables employees and external whistleblowers to report violations. In this way, the SEKISUI CHEMICAL Group (“SEKISUI”) learns about potential risks and can prevent damage to SEKISUI itself, its employees and third parties as well as protect individuals who might be harmed by misconduct.

A.Global Hotline allows SEKISUI’s employees and its business partners to report any violation of laws, regulations, our company policies, or other concerns you may have. Concerns may be based on either the nature of the misconduct, the potential impact on SEKISUI, or both. Examples of misconduct include actions that:
-Involve or could result in materially incorrect financial reporting;
-Relate to questionable accounting practice, fraud, or auditing matters;
-Affect a safe workplace environment;
-Concern ethics or equal employment opportunities, including discrimination, harassment or retaliation;
-Are unlawful;
-Violate any company policy or company regulation in a material respect;
-Otherwise amount to serious improper conduct.

A.Ideally, you should bring any concerns forward to your direct manager or member of your company’s management team. We recognize, however, that there may be circumstances when you are not comfortable reporting the issue in this manner. It is for such circumstances that we have implemented Global Hotline. We would rather you report anonymously than keep the information to yourself.

A.Reports are entered directly on the secure server. These reports are available only to specific individuals within SEKISUI who are charged with evaluating the report, based on the type of violation and location of the incident. Each of these report recipients has had training in keeping these reports in the utmost confidence.

A.No internal connection logs with IP addresses are generated or maintained, so no information linking your PC to Global Hotline is available to SEKISUI. If you feel uncomfortable making a report on your work PC, you have the option of using a PC outside our work environment or your smartphone..

A.Global Hotline protects your anonymity. If a reporter elects to make a report anonymously, D-Quest must protect the reporter’s identity from disclosure to SEKISUI. However, if you wish to remain anonymous, you need to ensure that the body of the report does not reveal your identity by accident. Additionally, there is a possibility that SEKISUI representatives may become aware of the reporter’s identity through the investigation. In such cases, SEKISUI representatives will maintain the confidentiality of the reporter’s identity.
