A.The SEKISUI CHEMICAL Group Global Hotline (“Global Hotline”) is a comprehensive and confidential reporting system managed by D-Quest (a company providing hotline services and tools). This tool allows employees (including former employees), as well as external whistleblowers to report violations. By utilizing Global Hotline, the SEKISUI CHEMICAL Group (“SEKISUI”) can identify potential risks and take preventive measures to protect the company, its current and former employees, third parties, and any individuals who might be harmed by misconduct.

A.Global Hotline allows SEKISUI’s employees (including former employees) and its business partners to report violations of laws, regulations, our company policies, or other concerns you may have. Concerns may be based on either the nature of the misconduct, the potential impact on SEKISUI, or both. You are encouraged to report any concerns even if you do not have complete evidence or are unsure if a violation has occurred. Examples of misconduct include actions that:
-Involve or could result in materially incorrect financial reporting;
-Relate to questionable accounting practice, fraud, or auditing matters;
-Affect a safe workplace environment;
-Concern ethics or equal employment opportunities, including discrimination, harassment or retaliation;
-Are unlawful;
-Violate any company policy or company regulation in a material respect;
-Otherwise amount to serious improper conduct.

A.Reports are submitted directly onto a secure server. They are accessible solely to the following company within SEKISUI responsible for assessing the report, depending on the nature of the violation and where the incident occurred. Every recipient of these reports has received training to guarantee the highest level of confidentiality.

A.Global Hotline protects your anonymity. If a reporter elects to make a report anonymously, D-Quest must protect the reporter’s identity from disclosure to SEKISUI. However, if you wish to remain anonymous, you need to ensure that the body of the report does not reveal your identity by accident. Additionally, there is a possibility that SEKISUI representatives may become aware of the reporter’s identity through the investigation. In such cases, SEKISUI representatives will maintain the confidentiality of the reporter’s identity.
